of mustard creek

before coming into our hands in 2022, mustard creek vineyard was nurtured by peachy canyon winery, shaping its development. in 2003, the vineyard was replanted, replacing the existing chardonnay with zinfandel and petite sirah. these vines thrived, and became the exclusive source of grapes for peachy canyon’s award-winning mustard creek designate wine.

two decades later, cole and meghan acquired the vineyard, immensely honored and grateful to have been handed the torch and continue on the legacy.

coming full circle — introduced to wine through a glass of paso zin, now growing and nurturing it themselves.

cole attended cal poly SLO and worked in paso robles from 2011 to 2015, yet had no idea that an ever-blossoming wine industry surrounded him. it wasn’t until meeting his now wife, meghan, in 2016 that her parents introduced him to the enchanting world of wine. a single glass of paso robles zin aka “elixir of the gods” being the gateway to this captivating realm. their wedding at a paso winery in 2021 solidified their bond with the region, hit with a feeling that this is where they’re meant to be.

discovering mustard creek vineyard felt serendipitous, prompting them to make the leap. with little liam in tow, they packed up and moved into the barn on the property — diving head first into the art and science of grape growing.
